QOZ Scholarship

PURPOSE: To assist Brevard County high school students in attending an institution of higher learning or technical training institution to meet long-term education goals.

Since 2015, we have assisted Brevard County high school students in attending an institution of higher learning to meet long-term educational goals.

Three (3) letters of recommendation (teachers, community leaders, mentors, etc.)
250–500-word essay

ESSAY TOPICS:

Please choose from one of the topics for the required 250-500 word essay. The essay will be judged on content, format, and grammar.

1. Pick an experience from your own life and explain how it has influenced your development.

2. Describe the solution you would propose to improve or resolve a current issue, such as health care, the economy, discrimination, or a current topic of your choice.

If selected for award, Recipients are required to attend the 2025 Community Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 4, 2025,

being held at 213 Stone Street, Cocoa, FL 32922.
