QOZ Scholarship

PURPOSE: To assist Brevard County high school students in attending an institution of higher learning or technical training institution to meet long-term education goals.

Since 2015, we have assisted Brevard County high school students in attending an institution of higher learning to meet long-term educational goals.

Deadline to Apply: FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2026

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

Documents should be attached as a PDF to the JotForm below

1. Completed electronic application

2. Unofficial Copy of High School Transcripts

3. Headshot photo from the shoulder up (i.e. grad photo) NO SELFIES

4. Two (2) signed Letters of Recommendation

a. One (1) letter from a high school or counselor

b. One (1) from a community leader that can speak on your community involvement

5. A 250-500 word essay describing a challenge you've overcome. Share how you stay motivated when things feel overwhelming. The essay will be judged on content, format, and grammar.

If selected for award, Recipients are required to attend the 2026 Community Baccalaureate Service. Date and location TBD.
